The Sprinkler-Guard Cover is the piece customers kept asking for: a simple, tough cover that snaps over the Sprinkler-Guard and seals the head off from the weather when it's not running. It took over a year to get right. It was tested from below-zero freezing to intense heat, with exterior tabs added so the seal holds whether the material shrinks or expands. In cold climates it keeps snow, hail, and ice out. In sandy, dusty places it keeps sand and grit from getting into the head and grinding it down. Pairs with any Sprinkler-Guard unit.

1

Clear the Grass

Clear the grass 8 to 10 inches around your sprinkler head to make room for the guard.

2

Slide In

Insert the Sprinkler-Guard tube alongside the head and press the disc flush with the ground. The guard should sit slightly above the sprinkler head.

3

Done. You're Protected.

Pack the soil and you're set. For a polished finished look, top it off with a little fish gravel around the sprinkler head.

"Finally, no more broken heads"

I was replacing 3-4 sprinkler heads every summer. Put these in last spring and haven't replaced a single one since. Best money I've spent on my yard.

"30 seconds and done"

My wife asked why I was so excited about sprinkler guards. Then I told her how much we spent on repairs last year. She ordered a second pack.

"Should have done this years ago"

Installed the whole yard in about 20 minutes. The grass was already growing over some of my heads and these stopped that completely. Simple and it works.

Common Questions

It snaps over your Sprinkler-Guard and seals the sprinkler head off from the weather when the system isn't running. That keeps snow, ice, hail, sand, and grit out, so the head doesn't grind down or get gummed up.
The cover is designed to snap onto an installed Sprinkler-Guard unit, so it works as part of the system. If you don't have your guards in yet, put those in first and add the covers on top.
That was the hard part. It was tested from below-zero freezing to intense heat, and exterior tabs were added so the seal holds whether the material shrinks or expands with the temperature.
Use them when the system isn't running, like the off-season in cold climates, or any time you want to keep blowing sand and grit out in dry, dusty areas. Pop them off when you're ready to run the sprinklers again.
One cover per sprinkler head you want to protect. Match it to the number of Sprinkler-Guards you've got in the ground.
